Donate Your Birthday To American Cancer Society!
This year, instead of gifts, have your friends and family support American Cancer Society with a donation in your name!
Even if your birthday is months away, you can join the community of people supporting American Cancer Society today!
American Cancer Society
Together with our millions of supporters, the American Cancer Society (ACS) saves lives and creates a world with less cancer and more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the ACS has 12 chartered Divisions, more than 900 local offices nationwide, and a presence in more than 5,100 communities.

Cancer touches all of us in one way or another. Statistics show that from 2004 to 2006, the lifetime probability of developing some kind of cancer is 1 in 2 in men and 1 in 3 in women. These numbers are shocking and are increasing year after year.
About 6 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was quite an unexpected surprise to our family considering we had no family history of it and my mom had a very healthy lifestyle. We are thankful that after months of treatment and surgery, she has been cancer free.
ACS is very near and dear to my heart. After a few Relay for Life events in college, I have heard countless heroic stories of other survivors and their battles with cancer and was touched by them and the efforts of this organization. Even though there isn't a cure for cancer yet, thousands of doctors and researchers are working hard to find one. Let's contribute a token of our support by donating.

We've all lost someone in our lives to Cancer. In honor of my Dad, in honor of Katie Andryca and in honor of all of your beloved Friends & Family, I hope to help in the fight of stomping out this HATER of Birthdays.
Viva la vie! :)
