NOELLE C.
July 11th
Thank you for looking at my Charity Birthday page. If I had one wish that could be granted.. it would be to rid the world of MS.
I continually support our MS Society, raise funds, and ride a bike in order to support research and awareness. Oh, don't forget. I make hundreds of jars of jam all in the name of Making the World Free of MS.

My spouse Derek was diagnosed with MS in 2003. He faces every day bravely not knowing what is ahead. MS is a disorder of uncertainty. One never knows if it's going to be a good day or a bad day. What symptoms may come or go. MS is uncertain. It's chronic and progressive.
MS can take away the ability to walk, talk, hear and see. It takes away ones sense of independence and can effect one's memory. Treatment is better than it ever has been, but still not cure.
Perhaps in my lifetime this will be seen. Meanwhile, we do all we can to spread the awareness of MS.. and support research.
National MS Society: Bike MS: Coastal Challenge 2012
Join us for Bike MS: Coastal Challenge, Southern California’s premier cycling event! We have route options for every level of cyclist, ranging from 30-160 miles; you will surely find a route fit for you. Enjoy delicious meals and strong support, with rest stops every 15 miles and SAG vehicles. A fantastic festival awaits you on Saturday afternoon with great food, music, a beer garden, massage tent and fun games.
Most importantly, you will not only get an unforgettable weekend, but a chance to make a difference for people with multiple sclerosis. The money you raise will support education, advocacy, research and local programs that enhance the quality of life for people with MS and their families.

My husband Derek was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2003.
MS is an often over looked diagnosis when it comes to contributions. MS affects younger individuals who appear healthy looking on the outside. On the inside is a different story.
Neurons messages are interrupted by plaques, nerves don't function as they should and every person is affected differently according to where the damage is.
Blindness, deafness, paralysis, dementia type memory issues, and pain, spasms, loss of bowel, bladder function the list goes on and on.
MS is a progressive disease, it progresses as individually with lapses, remission and at time rapid progressive disability.
Please support BIKE MS. Derek and I both have been involved with this event for 4 years this fall.
I thank you in advance.
Noelle :)
