This wonderful place gave Kyle and I a once in a lifetime opportunity when they let us snuggle with four white siberian tiger cubs for 'Christmas in September'.

Beside the fact that they helped me organize a surprise unlike any other - CW & Kim Wathen are two of the most kind, outrageous (I mean, they run a zoo out of the goodness of their hearts), caring, unforgettable people I have had the pleasure of spending time with. The home they have created for these animals is beautiful and the love they have for the Preserve is palpable.

The whole place runs entirely on donations - of money and time (their staff is pretty awesome too) - and both Kim & CW have day jobs, raise two beautiful girls and still have time to keep the preserve gorgeous and operational. In case you didnt know, tigers eat 40-60lbs of meat A DAY and as of july they have four more beautiful mouths to feed.

I will never be able to repay them for the experience we had, but hopefully you can help me lighten their load just a little.

Some of you know already, but for those of you that don't - this charity is very special to me because I may never have met Kyle had it not been for K2 Adventures. That being said, even if I hadn't ended up with the most amazing boyfriend, I still would be supporting this amazing organization because what they do for children, families and individuals all over the world is beyond special.

Founders Kevin Cherilla and Kristen Sandquist saw a need in the world and selflessly offered up their time, expertise, money and love to bring opportunities to people who have otherwise been cast out, forgotten, hunted or affected by unique circumstance. What really makes this organization incredible is the attitude of their members. When Kyle first called them up to say he wanted to bear crawl up Mt. Kilimanjaro, Kevin didn't tell him no or laugh, he started working on the logistics. What seemed impossible to so many other people, was just a challenge that needed a different approach. They don't just think 'what can we do?' they think 'HOW can we do?' and then make it happen.

Defining the phrase 'Philanthropic Adventure' unlike anyone else, K2 Adventures is an organization I would urge you to consider being a part of - they don't just redefine our idea of capable, they redefine awesome.
