Thank you so much for visiting this page and reading about what is important to me. There are many non-profit organizations that I would like to help, but these couple are the first ones that came to my mind. I would really appreciate it if you made a donation to one of these organizations as an alternative to giving me a birthday present. I am very lucky to have all that I do and I cannot imagine anything else that I need. I am just happy to be provided with food, water, and safety on a daily basis. Please assist me in helping those that are not as fortunate.

Every child, every person should have the right to safe drinking water and food on a daily basis. It is heartbreaking that some children go hungry for a day, and usually even longer than that. If this is as upsetting to you as it is to me, I encourage you to help me act against hunger.

V-Day is a vision: We see a world where women live safely and freely.
V-Day is a demand: Rape, incest, battery, genital mutilation and sexual slavery must end now.
V-Day is a spirit: We believe women should spend their lives creating and thriving rather than surviving or recovering from terrible atrocities.
V-Day is a catalyst: By raising money and consciousness, it will unify and strengthen existing anti-violence efforts. Triggering far-reaching awareness, it will lay the groundwork for new educational, protective, and legislative endeavors throughout the world.

One in every three women are sexually or physically abused in her lifetime. This is a staggering statistic and I would like to do something to stop it. I attended a play called "The Vagina Monologues" at Drake University. It touched me and made me feel passionate to do something other than shake my head. Please help me in making a difference.
